We are in search of an Elementary Lead teacher who has knowledge of the use of Abeka curriculum for 3rd through 5th grade. Such candidate will be responsible for leading classroom activities for one of these.
Duties include:
- Actively engaging with children to foster a positive and healthy learning environment, conducting student assessments, and providing reports and feedback on performance and behavior to parents.
- Bi-weekly preparation of class lesson plans using Abeka Curriculum.
- Quarterly preparation of progress report and report cards.
Requirements:
- Must have at least five years of experience in education in addition to holding an Associate Degree in Education. Our ideal candidate must have used or be familiar with the Abeka Curriculum. A teacher’s certification is not required.
- Candidates who perform well in this position enjoy interacting with children and are patient and supportive toward their learning process.
- Other valuable attributes include excellent communication skills and a passion for the educational system.
